Maintaining the apartment
VAV ensures that its apartments are kept in good condition. The tenant’s responsibilities include proper care of the apartment. The condition of the apartment, particularly the surface materials in wet areas, must be checked regularly. Any faults, deficiencies and damage must be reported immediately.
Reporting faults
The maintenance company should be notified immediately of damage requiring immediate repair, such as water damage, burst pipes and blocked drains so as to avoid further damage.
The majority of faults, deficiencies and damage in the property can be repaired by the maintenance company. If the work requires an expert, accredited specialist, the maintenance company will employ one.
We remind you that as a tenant you are obliged to pay compensation for damage which is deliberate, due to a lack of care or due to failure to comply with your obligation to report faults.
