Find out more about their rental conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"button\" href=\"http:\/\/asunnot.vav.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See all our apartments (in finnish)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>The criteria for renting out ARA-funded apartments<\/h2>\n<p>The process of renting a state-subsidised apartment is based on means tests, and on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ohjeet.varke.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tenant selection guidelines<\/a> of The Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland (ARA).<\/p>\n<p>The aim is to allot apartments to applicants who need them the most. Precedence is given to those with the most urgent need for an apartment, with the lowest wealth, and with the lowest income.<\/p>\n<p>Our apartments are only rented out to applicants who are 18 or older.<\/p>\n<p>On a property financed by ARA,<a href=\"http:\/\/asunnot.vav.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> our house list<\/a> has sign &#8220;tulo- ja varallisuusrajat&#8221; on it.<\/p>\n<h2>Wealth limits in Vantaa<\/h2>\n<p>When applying for state-subsidised (ARA-funded) housing, the applicant&#8217;s financial assets must be under the state-set wealth limits. The applicant must voluntarily provide VAV with evidence of paid rent debts either when submitting the application or as soon as possible thereafter.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, the applicant may submit a payment plan drawn up with a reliable body (e.g. a debt advisor from the social services department) to manage his or her debts. Payment plans will be dealt with on a case by case basis.<\/p>\n<h2>Information that has changed since the application was submitted<\/h2>\n<p>If the home address for any of the applicants in the Finnish Population Register Centre has changed after submitting the application, we assume that the applicant has either found an apartment through other means, or that matters affecting the application have changed.<\/p>\n<p>In such a case, you can continue applying for an apartment by renewing your application so that the information in it matches your current situation.<\/p>\n<h2>Our non-subsidised rental apartments are rented according to the applicant&#8217;s wishes<\/h2>\n<p>Our non-subsidised apartments owned by the VAV Group have no asset limits. When applying for a non-subsidised apartment, the applicant defines his\/her wishes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the neighbourhood<\/li>\n<li>the number of rooms<\/li>\n<li>the size of the dwelling<\/li>\n<li>the desired rent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The credit history of the applicant for a non-subsidised apartment must not be marked.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"button\" href=\"http:\/\/asunnot.vav.fi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See all our apartments (in finnish)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to apply for an apartment with us!
