We\u2019re finding out what our residents think about courtyards, how they\u2019re used and the natural environment in them. We\u2019re also interested in what you\u2019d like to see in your own courtyard. Take the survey!<\/p>\n

This online resident survey aims to find out how VAV residents use the courtyards of our buildings in their daily lives. We also want to know what is important to you about the courtyards and how biodiversity is realised there.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the survey provides an opportunity to share what kind of nature experiences our residents would like to have in their courtyard environments.<\/p>\n

The survey forms part of a Master\u2019s thesis in landscape architecture at Aalto University<\/a>, commissioned by VAV. VAV\u2019s aim is to recognise and promote biodiversity in courtyard areas. The responses received from residents will be used as background material for the courtyard plans developed as part of the master\u2019s thesis. The aim is to ensure that promoting biodiversity in courtyards also fits in with our residents\u2019 everyday lives.<\/p>\n

We will be holding a prize draw for five sets of two movie tickets amongst all those who have responded and provided their contact details. The survey and entry into the prize draw are on separate forms. The deadline for responses is Tuesday 8 September.<\/p>\n
