Apajakuja 7 is a residential complex comprising two blocks of flats in Myyrmäki. The blocks contain a total of 50 rental flats: studio flats, one-bedroom and two-bedroom flats, as well as two seven-room flats.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual storage rooms for each flat, a storage area for outdoor equipment and prams, and a communal room. The shared courtyard area between the blocks features a children’s play area, and there is a Vantaa City playground right next to the complex.
You can book a slot for the communal sauna via VAV’s customer service.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.
The rent includes free internet access (further information: vav.fi/netti). Pets are welcome. Security deposit: €0. Income and asset limits. Other: Parking spaces are available; bookings via VAV’s customer service. The block has a lift.

Local services
A wide range of services is available in the centre of Myyrmäki. The Myyrmanni shopping centre offers a wide range of shops and services for everyday needs. The area has several schools and nurseries, as well as a health centre. The Myyrmäki House is home to the Myyrmäki Library, the Vantaa Art Museum (Artsi) and the Kino Myyri cinema. The cultural offering is complemented by the Martinus Cultural Centre in Martinlaakso, which is just a few kilometres from Myyrmäki.
Transport links
Myyrmäki has excellent transport links to Helsinki and the rest of the capital region. It takes 15 minutes to travel to Helsinki city centre by train. Several bus routes run through the area, and the proximity of Ring Road III and Hämeenlinnanväylä also makes for smooth travel by car.
Outdoor activities and sport
Myyrmäki offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor activities and sport. Myyrmäki Sports Park is the area’s main sports facility, offering extensive facilities for a range of sports. Myyrmäki Sports Centre, with its swimming pool, the Energia Areena event venue, and the Myyrmäki ice rink and football stadium provide a comprehensive range of sports and leisure facilities within walking distance. The area’s parks, outdoor trails and the green spaces along the Mätäjoki river encourage residents to go for a jog and spend time in nature all year round.
