Senior apartments

VAV has one house offering rental homes for people aged 55 and over. We also own service and care homes in Vantaa. The welfare department is responsible for selecting residents for these homes.

Rental homes for older people

VAV has one building which is a so-called ‘senior property’, meaning it is intended for people aged 55 and over. The senior house is located in the Metsola district, at Mäyräkuja 6.

Many seniors have also chosen a so-called standard apartment in one of VAV’s rental houses as their home. Take a look at our houses across Vantaa. If you need a lift to help you get around, for example, include this as your search criterion when looking for houses.

The VAV Group also owns various service and care homes in Vantaa. Applications for these are made through the Vantaa and Kerava welfare services.

Tikkurila Senior Centre

A new 146-place care home for the elderly is being built in Simonkylä, Vantaa, at Simontie 5. The building is due to be completed in early 2027. The Vantaa and Kerava Welfare Area will act as the service provider and tenant for the care home, subletting the apartments to future residents.
