At the VAV Group, we process the personal data of residents and those applying for accommodation only to the extent necessary for our letting operations, in accordance with the law and good letting practice.

The purpose of the Customer Privacy Notice is to explain what personal data VAV processes in connection with the customer relationship, why this personal data is needed, and what it is used for. Please also see our privacy policy regarding our contractual and business partners, as well as job applicants.

Viewing your own stored data

If you are a VAV resident, you can view and update your details in the OmaVAV service.

You can also request a report showing what information about you is stored in VAV’s customer register. The report includes, amongst other things, your name, address, telephone number and email address, as well as details of any current housing applications and tenancy agreements. You can make a data request by completing the data request form below.

Submitting a data request requires you to provide additional information and undergo strong authentication so that we can verify your identity before processing the request. After submitting the form, you will be automatically redirected to the authentication service.

We aim to send you a report within 30 days of receiving your data request. We will send the report via an encrypted connection to the email address you have provided. Information relating to your data request will be stored in VAV’s customer register.
