Welcome to your new home! You’ll collect the keys to your new home from the key office when your tenancy agreement begins. Your moving-in letter will tell you which service point is responsible for key management for your flat.
Certego Oy/ MyyrmäkiRajatorpantie 8 (Virtatalo), Myyrmäki01600 Vantaa
Certego Oy/ KorsoKorsontie 701450 Vantaa
Service points are open Mon–Fri 8 am–4 pm.
The residents you specify on your housing application will be automatically recorded in the tenancy register. If the number of residents changes when you move in or during your tenancy, please notify VAV’s customer service without delay.
A VAV representative will inspect the apartment when there is a change of tenants. It is in your own interest to also check the condition of the apartment and its fixtures and fittings yourself as soon as you have moved in. If you have any concerns about the condition of your apartment, submit a fault report via the OmaVAV service.
Check out the moving-in checklist on OmaVAV.
If you are moving out of a VAV home, VAV’s property manager will carry out an apartment inspection. The inspection will take place during the notice period, i.e. before your tenancy agreement expires.
You do not need to be present for the apartment inspection. However, if you wish to be present or if you are unable to enter the apartment – for example, due to pets – please notify VAV’s customer service via the OmaVAV service.
Make sure your apartment is left in a tidy condition when you move out. The landlord has the right to charge the tenant for any final cleaning that has not been carried out properly.
All areas must be empty after you have moved out. Remove your own belongings from the apartment, the online storage room, the balcony and the bicycle and pram storage areas. Items that are no longer needed must not be left in the refuse shelter.
If the apartment has been fitted with venetian blinds, a security lock or a peephole, these must be left in place. When disconnecting the dishwasher, the connections must be capped to prevent water damage, and the cupboard doors and shelves must be put back in place.

If you have paid a security deposit, it will be refunded during the month following the end of the tenancy, provided that:
Any costs arising from neglect of the property’s upkeep will be deducted from the security deposit in accordance with the tenant billing schedule.
