Avaintie 2 is a terraced housing development in Varisto, comprising seven residential buildings. The development comprises a total of 29 rental flats, ranging in size from studio flats to one-, two-, three- and four-room flats.
Residents have access to a drying room and individual outdoor storage areas attached to each flat. There is a children’s playground in the communal courtyard area.
You can book a time slot for the communal sauna via VAV’s customer service.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.
The rent includes free internet access (further information: vav.fi/netti). Pets are welcome. Security deposit: €0.

Varisto as a residential area
Varisto is a diverse neighbourhood in West Vantaa, within the Myyrmäki sub-region. It is situated near Vihdintie and Ring Road III, making the area easily accessible by both public transport and car.
Local services
The area has nurseries, and primary education is provided by local schools, with Hämeenkylä School also serving the Varisto area. Grocery shops are located in the immediate vicinity of Varisto, as well as in the centres of Myyrmäki and Martinlaakso, which offer a comprehensive range of shops and other services. The Viisari Shopping Centre is situated in the Varisto business park, where you’ll find furniture and interior design shops as well as other specialist retail services. Healthcare services and a wider range of public services are easily accessible in Myyrmäki, which serves as the central hub for the entire area.
Transport links
Varisto’s location offers excellent transport links. The area is bordered by Ring Road III and Vihdintie, which provide smooth connections to Helsinki city centre, Espoo and the rest of the capital region. Bus services run through the area in several directions, and Myyrmäki railway station is easily accessible from the surrounding area.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Varisto offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and everyday exercise in a diverse local environment. The area features parks, green spaces and paths for pedestrians and cyclists, which are ideal for walking, jogging and cycling. The Myyrmäki fitness trail, situated right next to Varisto, offers an excellent setting for keeping fit throughout the year and is particularly popular amongst joggers and outdoor enthusiasts. In addition, the Myyrmäki Sports Park is situated in the immediate vicinity and offers a wide range of outdoor sports and leisure activities. The Varistonniityn park area (Ankkalampi) and the wooded area of Raappavuori, both situated in Varisto, offer opportunities for peaceful outdoor activities and leisure time.
