Helmikuja 1 is a block of flats complex in Myyrmäki, comprising three residential buildings. The complex comprises a total of 52 rental flats, which are studio flats, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats, all with saunas.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, as well as storage areas for outdoor equipment and prams. There is a children’s playground in the communal courtyard area.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.
The rent includes free internet access (further information: vav.fi/netti). Pets are welcome. Security deposit: €0.

A wide range of services are available in the centre of Myyrmäki. The Myyrmanni shopping centre offers a wide range of shops and services for everyday needs. The area has several schools and nurseries, as well as a health centre. The Myyrmäki House is home to the Myyrmäki Library, the Vantaa Art Museum (Artsi) and the Kino Myyri cinema. The cultural offering is complemented by Martinus, the Martinlaakso Cultural Centre, which is just a few kilometres from Myyrmäki.
Transport links
Myyrmäki has excellent transport links to Helsinki and the rest of the capital region. It takes 15 minutes to travel to Helsinki city centre by train. Several bus routes run through the area, and the proximity of Ring Road III and Hämeenlinnanväylä also ensures smooth travel by car.

Myyrmäki offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor activities and sport. Myyrmäki Sports Park is the area’s central sports venue, offering extensive facilities for a wide range of sports. Myyrmäki Sports Centre, with its swimming pool, the Energia Areena event venue, and the Myyrmäki ice rink and football stadium provide a comprehensive range of sports and leisure facilities within walking distance. The area’s parks, walking trails and the green spaces along the banks of the Mätäjoki River are ideal for jogging and spending time in nature all year round.
