Kivikirveenkuja 4 is a block of flats situated in a central location in Myyrmäki, close to the wide range of amenities at the Myyrmanni shopping centre. The flats on the site comprise studio flats, one-bedroom flats, two-bedroom flats and three-bedroom flats.
The residential development forms part of the Myyrmäki redevelopment area, the buildings in which are scheduled for demolition after 2027. A precise demolition timetable has not yet been confirmed. Residents will be notified of the start of demolition at least six months in advance.
Tenancy agreements are valid until further notice and are subject to a one-month notice period.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage area for outdoor equipment and prams, and a community room. There is a children’s playground in the building’s grounds.

Local services
A wide range of services are available in the centre of Myyrmäki. The Myyrmanni shopping centre offers a wide range of shops and services for everyday needs. The area has several schools and nurseries, as well as a health centre. The Myyrmäki House is home to the Myyrmäki Library, the Vantaa Art Museum (Artsi) and the Kino Myyri cinema. The cultural offering is complemented by the Martinus Cultural Centre in Martinlaakso, which is just a few kilometres from Myyrmäki.
Transport links
Myyrmäki has excellent transport links to Helsinki and the rest of the capital region. It takes 15 minutes to travel to Helsinki city centre by train. There are several bus routes serving the area, and the proximity of Ring Road III and Hämeenlinnanväylä also makes it easy to get around by car.
Outdoor activities and sport
Myyrmäki offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor activities and sport. Myyrmäki Sports Park is the area’s central sports venue, providing extensive facilities for practising various sports. Myyrmäki Sports Centre, with its swimming pool, the Energia Areena event venue, and the Myyrmäki ice rink and football stadium offer a comprehensive range of sports and leisure activities within walking distance.
The area’s parks, walking trails and the green spaces along the Mätäjoki river encourage people to go for a jog and spend time in nature all year round.
