Kukinkuja 8 is a block of flats in Martinlaakso comprising a total of 67 rental flats. The flats are studio flats, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage room for outdoor equipment and a communal room. There is a children’s playground in the building’s courtyard.
You can book a slot for the building’s sauna via VAV’s customer service.

Martinlaakso is an urban and diverse residential area in Western Vantaa, part of the Myyrmäki sub-region, with good transport links and access to services. Martinlaakso is also known for its extensive range of leisure and recreational opportunities, as well as its pleasant living environments.
Local services
In Martinlaakso, everyday services are comprehensive and easily accessible. There are several nurseries and schools in the area. Early years education and primary education are available in both Finnish and Swedish. Sixth-form education is also available in both languages. Vocational training is provided by the Mercuria Business College. In addition, the area has youth centres, as well as the Martinlaakso shopping centre, a library, a health centre, a swimming pool and the Martinus cultural centre.
Transport links
Martinlaakso has good transport links to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. There are smooth connections to Helsinki from Martinlaakso railway station, and bus routes complement transport links within the area. Helsinki city centre can be reached by train in around 25–30 minutes.
Outdoor activities and sport
Martinlaakso has plenty of green spaces and parks. Martinlaakso Sports Park offers a wide range of opportunities for physical activity, including baseball, tennis and basketball courts, as well as an artificial ice rink in winter. Jokiuomanpuisto is Martinlaakso’s main local recreation area, featuring a local sports facility, a mini-golf course and a dog park.
