Markkulantie 24 is a terraced housing development in Kuninkala, comprising a total of 72 rental flats. The flats are two-room, three-room, four-room and five-room flats, all with saunas. The development is situated next to a quiet residential area. A school, a nursery and an outdoor gym are nearby.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage room for outdoor equipment and a communal room. There is a children’s playground in the building’s courtyard.

Kuninkaala as a residential area
Kuninkaala is a neighbourhood in the Tikkurila sub-region of Vantaa, situated between the main railway line and Lahdenväylä. Kuninkaala is a peaceful area popular with families with children. The housing in the area consists mainly of detached houses.

Kuninkaala is situated approximately one kilometre from the comprehensive amenities in Tikkurila. Tikkurila offers a wide range of supermarkets, restaurants, healthcare services and gyms. Schools and nurseries are also nearby.
Transport links
There are good transport links from Kuninkaala to Tikkurila station, which offers excellent train connections to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. The journey to Helsinki city centre takes around 15–20 minutes by train. For those travelling by car, the location is convenient, and access to the Lahti motorway is nearby.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Heureka, an exciting science centre for the whole family, is located in Kuninkala. The area around the Kerava River and Väritehtaanranta offer excellent settings for exercise and enjoying nature. The pleasant paths running alongside the river are ideal for walking and cycling. In addition, the Tikkurila area offers a wide range of sports facilities.
