Peltolantie 42 is a block of flats in Koivuhaka, completed in 2023. The development comprises a total of 115 rental flats: studio flats, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats. The development is situated in a modern and pleasant residential area.
The flats are modern and decorated in light colours. The floors are light oak laminate and the walls are crisp white. Kitchen fittings include a hob and a fridge-freezer. The kitchen is pre-wired for a dishwasher.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, a communal lounge, individual storage cupboards for each flat, and a storage room for outdoor equipment. There is a children’s playground in the building’s courtyard.

Koivuhaka as a residential area
Koivuhaka is a diverse and developing neighbourhood in the centre of Vantaa. It combines a smooth-running daily life, good transport links and an active environment. The area is home to a wealth of businesses and jobs, which brings the neighbourhood to life. Koivuhaka is situated near Tuusulanväylä and Ring Road III, making it easy to travel to different parts of the capital region.
Local amenities
There is a grocery shop in the area. A wider range of services can be found a few kilometres away at the Jumbo shopping centre or in Tikkurila. There is a school and a nursery in the nearby Viertola area.
Transport links
Koivuhaka has good transport links thanks to Tuusulanväylä and Ring Road III. Tikkurila railway station is located approximately 2 km away, and the train journey from there to Helsinki Central Station takes around 15 minutes. In addition, a tram link is planned for the area, which would make getting around even easier.
Outdoor activities and exercise
In the northern part of Koivuhaka, in the Kylmäoja stream valley, lies the tree species park known as the Koivuhaka Arboretum. It forms part of the larger Tikkurila Central Park. The area also features numerous walking trails, some of which connect to Tikkurila Sports Park, amongst other destinations.
