Sahatie 2 is a block of flats in Vapaala, comprising a total of 42 rental flats. The flats come in various sizes – studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and five-bedroom flats – offering options to suit a range of housing needs.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage room for outdoor equipment and a communal room. There is a children’s play area in the building’s courtyard.
You can book a slot for the building’s sauna via VAV’s customer service.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Vapaala has good transport links to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. The area is well served by bus routes, and Myyrmäki railway station is nearby, offering convenient train connections to Helsinki city centre and elsewhere in the metropolitan area. Travelling by car is also hassle-free, as the area has good links to Ring Road III and Vihdintie.

Vapaala offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and exercise in a natural setting. The area is surrounded by wooded green spaces, parks and cycle paths, which are well suited to walking, jogging and cycling. Play areas, local sports facilities and parks in the immediate vicinity of Vapaala and Rajatorppa support everyday outdoor activities. These sporting opportunities are complemented by the padel courts in Rajatorppa, whilst Myyrmäki Sports Park offers a versatile setting for a wide range of sporting activities. Furthermore, the popular Malminkartano fitness steps are located on the Helsinki side, approximately two kilometres away.
