Taostie 2 is a small block of flats in Kuninkaala, comprising a total of 41 rental flats. The flats vary in size and are functionally designed studio flats, one-bedroom flats and two-bedroom flats, all with saunas. The estate’s grounds are sheltered and peaceful.
Residents have access to individual storage rooms for household goods and a storage area for outdoor equipment. Each flat has its own sauna.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Kuninkaala as a residential area
Kuninkaala is a neighbourhood in the Tikkurila sub-region of Vantaa, situated between the main railway line and Lahdenväylä. Kuninkaala is a peaceful area popular with families with children. The housing in the area consists mainly of detached houses.
Local amenities
Kuninkaala is situated about one kilometre from the comprehensive range of services available in Tikkurila. Tikkurila offers a wide variety of supermarkets, restaurants, healthcare services and gyms. Schools and nurseries are also nearby.
Transport links
There are good transport links from Kuninkaala to Tikkurila station, which offers excellent train connections to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. The train journey to Helsinki city centre takes around 15–20 minutes. For those travelling by car, the location is convenient, and access to the Lahti motorway is nearby.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Heureka, an exciting science centre for the whole family, is located in Kuninkaala. The area around the Kerava River and Väritehtaanranta provide an excellent setting for exercise and enjoying nature. The pleasant paths running alongside the river are ideal for walking and cycling. In addition, the Tikkurila area offers a wide range of sporting facilities.
