Tukkilaisentie 9 is a timber-clad apartment block in Askisto, situated right on the edge of green spaces. The building comprises a total of 39 rental flats, all of which are two-room flats. Residents have access to a free laundry room, individual outdoor storage spaces for each flat and a communal lounge. Some of the flats have their own private courtyard. You can book a slot in the building’s sauna via VAV’s customer service.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Askisto as a residential area
Askisto is a cosy and leafy residential area in West Vantaa, close to Ring Road III and Vihdintie. Askisto offers a peaceful living environment close to nature, where everyday amenities are nearby and transport links to other areas are convenient. The area combines comfort, safety and nature.
Local services
The area features a supermarket, nurseries and Askisto School, which provides primary education for primary school pupils. Health centres and pharmacies are conveniently located in neighbouring areas, such as Myyrmäki, Martinlaakso and Hämeenkylä. Myyrmäki’s diverse shopping and service centres are just a short drive away. In addition, the nearby area of Varisto is home to a wide variety of furniture and specialist shops.

Although Askisto is close to nature and peaceful, it is conveniently situated along main roads and public transport routes. Bus routes run nearby, and for motorists, Ring Road III and Highway 120 provide fast connections to both Helsinki and the rest of Vantaa.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Askisto is an excellent area for those who enjoy the outdoors. The nearby woods, parks and varied outdoor trails offer excellent opportunities for physical activity all year round. The area also features outdoor fitness facilities, maintained cross-country ski trails in winter, and a disc golf course next to the school.
