Vartiokuja 1 is a terraced housing development in Länsimäki, comprising a total of 32 rental flats. The flats are one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, storage cupboards and a communal lounge. There is a children’s playground in the estate’s courtyard.
You can book a slot for the communal sauna via VAV’s customer service. Water charge: €20 per person per month. The rent includes free internet access (further information: vav.fi/netti). Pets are welcome. Security deposit: €0. Income and asset limits.

Länsimäki as a residential area
Länsimäki is a peaceful and pleasant residential area in south-east Vantaa, within the Hakunila sub-region. The area consists mainly of low-rise blocks of flats, which are spaced out. The green surroundings and spacious courtyards make Länsimäki a pleasant place to live, particularly for those who appreciate being close to nature.
Local amenities
Länsimäki offers all the essential everyday services, such as a supermarket, a library and social and health services. The area also has a school and several nurseries. A wider range of services can be found, for example, in the Hakunila area and on the Helsinki side, where the Itis Shopping Centre offers a diverse range of shopping, dining and leisure facilities.
Transport links
Länsimäki has good transport links to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Bus routes run smoothly through the area, and the Mellunmäki Metro station, situated on the Helsinki side, is nearby. The Metro station provides access to Helsinki city centre in around 20–25 minutes.
