Jänönhäntä 1 is a block of flats in Koivuhaka comprising a total of 48 rental flats. The flats are studio flats, one-bedroom flats and two-bedroom flats.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, and a bicycle storage room. There is a children’s playground in the courtyard. The complex has a communal sauna, and you can book a slot via VAV’s customer service.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Koivuhaka as a residential area
Koivuhaka is a diverse and developing neighbourhood in the centre of Vantaa. It combines a smooth daily life, good accessibility and an active environment. The area is home to a thriving business community and plenty of jobs, which brings the neighbourhood to life. Koivuhaka is situated close to Tuusulanväylä and Ring Road III, making it easy to travel to different parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area.
Local services
There is a grocery shop in the area. A wider range of services can be found a few kilometres away at the Jumbo shopping centre or in Tikkurila. There is a school and a nursery in the nearby Viertola area.
Transport links
Koivuhaka has good transport links thanks to Tuusulanväylä and Ring Road III. Tikkurila railway station is located approximately 2 km away, and from there it takes about 15 minutes by train to reach Helsinki Central Station. In addition, a tram link is planned for the area, which would make getting around even easier.
Outdoor activities and exercise
In the northern part of Koivuhaka, in the Kylmäoja stream valley, lies the tree species park known as the Koivuhaka Arboretum. It forms part of the larger Tikkurila Central Park. The area also features numerous walking trails, which connect to destinations such as the Tikkurila Sports Park.
