Itä-Hakkila is a peaceful residential area in East Vantaa, near the old Lahdentie road, close to Porttipuisto and Hakunila. Particularly suitable for families with children, the neighbourhood consists mainly of detached houses.

Itä-Hakkila has a primary school and a nursery. There is a grocery shop in the area, but the wider range of shops in Porttipuisto is also just a short drive away.
