Lipstikkakuja 2 is a block of flats completed in Aslo in 2025. The building’s architecture is designed to stand the test of time, and the cosy flats are suitable for all stages of life. The building offers a range of flats, from studio flats to larger family homes.
Sustainable and responsible construction is at the heart of VAV’s development work. In this project, this means that Lipstikkakuja 2 has been built in accordance with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel’s sustainability principles.
The building, which is rated A for energy efficiency, utilises solar panels as an additional energy source.
The building has seven storeys and 54 flats. All flats have cosy balconies. Residents have shared use of a communal room on the ground floor and cosy sauna facilities on the top floor. The building also has a laundry room.
The flats are modern and decorated in light colours. Kitchen fittings include a hob and a fridge-freezer. The kitchen is fitted with a space for a dishwasher.
Water charges are billed monthly according to usage. The rent includes free internet access (further information: vav.fi/netti). Pets are welcome. Security deposit: €0.
Income and asset limits.
The property is smoke-free. This means that smoking is prohibited in the flats, on the balconies, in communal areas and in the courtyard.
Asola as a residential area
Asola is a peaceful and pleasant residential area in East Vantaa, within the Koivukylä sub-region. The area is known for its natural surroundings and family-friendly atmosphere.
Local amenities
There are several food shops nearby, and the nearby Koivukylä centre offers a comprehensive range of services, including a supermarket, a health centre, a pharmacy and a library. Peijas Hospital is just a short distance away. The Asola area also has a school and several nurseries.
Transport links
The area has good public transport links to various parts of the Helsinki metropolitan area. Koivukylä railway station is located near Asola, from where you can reach Helsinki by train in around 25–30 minutes. Bus routes complement these connections and make it easy to travel in various directions. Travelling by car is also easy thanks to nearby major roads, such as Lahdenväylä.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Asola’s leafy parks and outdoor trails invite you to enjoy the fresh air and get some exercise. The Asola jogging track, in particular, is a popular route for jogging and walking. The Kuusijärvi nature and recreation area, located about a 10-minute drive away, offers a wonderful setting for swimming, sauna, hiking and, in winter, ice swimming.
