Meripihkatori 2 is a block of flats situated in a central location in Myyrmäki, close to the wide range of amenities offered by the Myyrmanni shopping centre. The development comprises a total of 63 rental flats, including studio flats, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats.
The residential development is part of the Myyrmäki development block, the buildings of which are scheduled for demolition after 2027. A precise demolition schedule has not yet been confirmed. Residents will be notified of the start of demolition at least six months in advance.
Tenancy agreements are valid until further notice and are subject to a one-month notice period.
Residents have access to a laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, storage areas for outdoor equipment and prams, and a community room. There is a children’s playground in the building’s courtyard.

A wide range of services are available in the centre of Myyrmäki. The Myyrmanni shopping centre offers a wide range of shops and services for everyday needs. The area has several schools and nurseries, as well as a health centre. The Myyrmäki House is home to the Myyrmäki Library, the Vantaa Art Museum (Artsi) and the Kino Myyri cinema. The cultural offering is complemented by the Martinus Cultural Centre in Martinlaakso, which is just a few kilometres from Myyrmäki.
Transport links
Myyrmäki has excellent transport links to Helsinki and the rest of the capital region. It takes 15 minutes to travel to Helsinki city centre by train. Several bus routes serve the area, and the proximity of Ring Road III and Hämeenlinnanväylä also makes it easy to get around by car.
Outdoor activities and sport
Myyrmäki offers a wide range of opportunities for outdoor activities and sport. Myyrmäki Sports Park is the area’s main sports venue, providing extensive facilities for practising various sports. Myyrmäki Sports Centre, with its swimming pool, the Energia Areena event venue, as well as Myyrmäki Ice Rink and the football stadium, offer a comprehensive range of sports and leisure facilities within walking distance.
The area’s parks, walking trails and the green spaces along the Mätäjoki river encourage people to go for a jog and spend time in nature all year round.
