Metsänhoitajankuja 2 is a block of flats situated in Jokiniemi, close to the Kerava River. The development comprises a total of 44 rental flats, consisting of two-room, three-room, four-room and five-room flats, all with saunas.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual storage rooms for each flat, a storage area for outdoor equipment and storage for prams. The courtyard features a children’s playground and bicycle shelters.

Jokiniemi as a residential area
Jokiniemi is a neighbourhood in the Tikkurila sub-region of Vantaa, adjacent to Hiekkaharju. Overall, Jokiniemi is a peaceful and even rural-feeling neighbourhood, yet Tikkurila’s wide range of amenities are close by.

Jokiniemi has several nurseries and schools. The area also offers cultural activities, such as the Navethalia Theatre, run by Vantaan Näyttämö. Tikkurila is home to, amongst other things, a library, a wide range of grocery shops and healthcare services.
Transport links
The proximity of Ring Road III allows for easy travel by car in many directions. The area has good connections to nearby railway stations, such as Tikkurila and Hiekkaharju, from which it is easy to reach Helsinki city centre and other parts of the capital region.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Jokiniemi is surrounded by an extensive network of cycle paths, and the area offers good access to a variety of outdoor recreation areas. You can enjoy physical activity at, amongst other places, the Hiekkaharju sports park and golf course. There are pleasant outdoor trails along the Keravanjoki river, suitable for both jogging and cycling. There are several gyms in Tikkurila.
