Ohratie 1 is a small, peaceful loft-style development in Jokiniemi, comprising a total of 44 rental flats. The flats are one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.
The location is excellent, as Tikkurila’s wide range of amenities and the railway station are just a short distance away, and several bus routes run right past the building. Everyday life is made easier by the nearby educational institutions – a nursery and the Swedish-language school in Tikkurila are just across the road. Jokiniemi School and Tikkurila Upper Secondary School are also within easy reach.
Residents have access to a communal sauna, a laundry room and drying room, a community room, and individual storage cupboards for each flat. There is a sheltered playground for children in the courtyard.

Jokiniemi is a neighbourhood in the Tikkurila sub-region of Vantaa, adjacent to Hiekkaharju. Overall, Jokiniemi is a peaceful and even rustic neighbourhood, yet the diverse amenities of Tikkurila are close by.

Jokiniemi has several nurseries and schools. The area also offers cultural activities, such as the Navethalia Theatre run by Vantaa Theatre. Tikkurila is home to, amongst other things, a library, a wide range of grocery shops and health services.
Transport links
The proximity of Ring Road III enables easy travel by car in many directions. The area has good connections to nearby railway stations, such as Tikkurila and Hiekkaharju, from which it is easy to reach Helsinki city centre and other parts of the capital region.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Jokiniemi is surrounded by an extensive network of cycle paths, and the area offers good access to a wide range of outdoor recreation areas. You can enjoy physical activity at venues such as the Hiekkaharju sports park and golf course. There are pleasant outdoor trails along the Keravanjoki river, suitable for both jogging and cycling. There are several gyms in Tikkurila.
