Pähkinärinteentie 22, 24 and 26 is a complex of three blocks of flats located in Pähkinärinne. The complex comprises a total of 81 rental flats of various sizes: studio flats, one-bedroom flats, two-bedroom flats and five-room flats.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage room for outdoor equipment and two communal rooms. There is a children’s playground in the shared courtyard area. You can book a slot in the communal sauna via VAV’s customer service.

Hämeenkylä and Pähkinärinne as residential areas
Located in West Vantaa, Hämeenkylä is a peaceful and leafy residential area of detached houses situated at the junction of Ring Road III and Vihdintie, with several nurseries and schools in the vicinity. Pähkinärinne is a pleasant residential area situated to the south of Hämeenkylä, on the edge of Vihdintie.
Local amenities
There are grocery shops in the area. A wider range of services can be found in either the Myyrmäki or Varisto areas. There are also schools and nurseries in the area.
Transport links
Hämeenkylä has good transport links, whether by car or bicycle. The area has a well-maintained network of cycle paths, enabling safe and enjoyable cycling. Public transport runs to Myyrmäki, amongst other destinations, from where there are convenient train connections to both the airport and Helsinki city centre.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Hämeenkylä is a residential area for nature lovers. In the northern part of Hämeenkylä lie Pitkäjärvi Bay and Pikkujärvi, which form a popular nature recreation area complete with birdwatching towers. The area is a rarity in the Helsinki metropolitan area and is, in fact, a nature reserve. Another nature spot in Hämeenkylä is Lammaslampi, which is a popular recreational area.
