Located in West Vantaa, Hämeenkylä is a peaceful and leafy area of detached houses situated at the junction of Ring Road III and Vihdintie, with several nurseries and schools in the vicinity. Pähkinärinne is a pleasant residential area situated to the south of Hämeenkylä, on the edge of Vihdintie.

The area is a rarity in the capital region and is, in fact, a nature reserve. Another natural attraction in Hämeenkylä is Lammaslampi, which is a popular recreational area.
