Urheilutie 10 is a block of flats in Jokiniemi, comprising a total of 24 rental flats. The flats consist of studio flats, as well as one- and two-bedroom flats with saunas. The development is situated close to the amenities and railway station in Tikkurila, and Hiekkaharju Sports Park is right next door.
Residents have access to a drying room, individual storage cupboards for each flat, a storage area for outdoor equipment and storage spaces for pushchairs. There is a children’s playground in the grounds.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Jokiniemi as a residential area
Jokiniemi is a neighbourhood in the Tikkurila sub-region of Vantaa, adjacent to Hiekkaharju. Overall, Jokiniemi is a peaceful and even rural-style neighbourhood, yet Tikkurila’s wide range of services are close by.
Local services
Jokiniemi has several nurseries and schools. The area also offers cultural activities, such as the Navethalia Theatre run by Vantaa Näyttämö. Tikkurila is home to, amongst other things, a library, a wide range of grocery shops and healthcare services.
Transport links
The proximity of Ring Road III enables easy travel by car in many directions. The area has good links to nearby railway stations, such as Tikkurila and Hiekkaharju, from which it is easy to reach Helsinki city centre and other parts of the capital region.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Jokiniemi is surrounded by an extensive network of cycle paths, and the area offers good access to a variety of outdoor recreation areas. You can get active at the Hiekkaharju sports park and golf course, amongst other places. There are pleasant outdoor trails along the Keravanjoki river, suitable for both jogging and cycling. Tikkurila has several gyms.
