Vaijeritie 1 is a loft-style housing development in Hämevaara, comprising a total of 54 rental flats. The flats in the building are studio flats, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom flats, all with saunas.
Residents have access to a free laundry room and drying room, individual outdoor storage spaces for each flat, and a communal lounge. There is a children’s playground in the building’s courtyard.
Water charge: €20 per person per month.

Hämevaara as a residential area
Hämevaara is a neighbourhood in West Vantaa, close to the border with Espoo. This peaceful residential area consists mainly of detached houses and a few blocks of flats and terraced houses.
Local services
There is a nursery in the area. Other services can be found in nearby Pähkinärinne or Vapaala. Larger shopping centres, such as Myyrmanni, are also just a short drive away and offer a wide range of shopping and dining options.

Hämevaara has good bus connections to nearby railway stations, and the area offers easy access to major roads, making it easy to travel to different parts of the capital region by car.
Outdoor activities and exercise
Hämevaara offers excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and exercise in a natural setting. The surrounding area features numerous forest trails and walking routes, inviting residents to get out and about and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. There are also playgrounds nearby, as well as local sports facilities suitable for ball games and everyday exercise. In winter, there is a floodlit ski trail in the area. A wider range of outdoor activities can be found in the Petikko nature and recreation area, which is just a short drive away.
