Living in VAV
Over the course of the coming year, Elisa will become the provider of internet connections and cable TV for VAV residents. The broadband speed included in the rent will be 50 Mbit/s from now on.
The change of provider will be implemented on a building-by-building basis from March 2026 onwards. The work will continue until the end of 2026. The DNA broadband service currently included in your rent will cease to work as a result of these changes. Check the schedule for your own building.
Elisa will provide guidance to residents of each building as the change of operator approaches. Residents do not need to take any action before then. When the operator changes, Elisa will enter into agreements with those residents who wish to continue using the broadband connection included in their rent. Residents should be aware of any contracts they may have with DNA and ensure, for example, that they cancel any additional services themselves.
Following the change, TV channels will also need to be reselected. Elisa will provide more detailed, building-specific instructions on this as the change approaches.
Equipment currently in use, such as modems, will continue to work. However, it is advisable to replace older modems with newer ones for security reasons. Elisa offers our residents a free digital lifestyle assessment service, which can provide assistance with issues such as equipment-related queries. As a public-sector operator, VAV is required to put its partnership agreements out to tender at regular intervals. As a result of this tendering process, next year our residents will benefit from faster broadband connections included in their rent, as well as highly competitive prices for additional services offered by the operator.
